'Autumn in the head' is a documentary about dementia. For this project I followed 3 demented women who live in Ten Kerselaere and I interviewed their families. The documentary is composed of images of the demented women and monologues of the family members who talk about the various problems of living with a demented mother or wife. Aspects of going back in time and always searching their past, softening of the brain, passing away the time, and loneliness are very obviously present.

Masquerade (2007)

Interactive installation and video

Maskarade is a project in which visitors have a one to one experience with art in a hermitage.

Two days of live recordings as an installation. A table with a chair, a directional spotlight, a continuously registering camera and a voice which speaks to the visitors and asks them questions about the untold. The video is a montage of the live recordings presented during the rest of the exhibition.
